AC: Rogue - Shenanigans!

In the spirit of AC: Rogue - Youth v Experience, I thought I'd take a look at Shay's first mates, both Assassin and Templar.

Liam O'Brien always had to make sure Shay wasn't going off half-cocked - secretly, he found Shay's antics far more amusing (and encouraging) than any of their brothers in the Order. They reminded him of the boy who followed his lead on the streets of New York City, instead than the angry young man who'd lost his father and his way...

<sub>According to his profile, Liam* wasn't only Achilles' right hand in the Colonial Brotherhood, he also recruited Shay after the latter lost his father. It's clear Shay looks up to, respects, and depends on Liam as an older brother, and Liam really gives the impression he considers Shay, if not an adopted little brother, at least someone he feels obligated to look after and mentor. I think maybe it's this relationship that makes the rift between them after Lisbon all the more devastating, and maybe why Liam couldn't understand why Shay questioned the Creed to the degree he did.

I wish the game could have had more instances of Shay and Liam interacting outside of missions, although I thought the ship dialogue was pretty good at establishing it.
