Series: Tales of the Spirit World: Fall of the Blue Spirit

Jian is fascinated by human culture, so with her living in my head, anything can become interesting. As you might know, in Japan, girls give chocolates to boys on Valentine's instead of the other way around (I'm sure I hear Yankee boys perking up...)

Technically, you're only supposed to give chocolates to the one you love, but Jian thinks that's not fair (that, and she doesn't want you-know-who to guess her true feelings :devilish:)

If you want to know how Jian secured a metric assload of caramel chocolates for Hui... she's a goddess. She has her ways. :D

Rinzen LOVES messing with Jian, because he thinks it's cute how a goddess can be so interested in humans and want to be like them. (yes, he knows she's a goddess, tho he doesn't let on)

Yes, Jian got Pi li chocolates as well. No, they weren't poisoned. Yes, they had nougat. Yes, Pi li hates nougat with a passion. :evillaugh:

Yan-sui only likes plain dark chocolate. Jian got him a box of Valrhona palet d'or. :heart:

Oh lawd, i think i feel a spam rush coming on!! :sprint:

Hui is so adorable! And yes, caramel is one of my faves too!
Jian is so nice and considerate! (Other than to Pi Li, who deserves everthing thrown at his too-good-looking-for-his-own-good behind.)
Rinzen is an "incurable prankster!" (No one would get that if they haven't seen the clip of "The Ember Island Players" at the Comic Con...or on Youtube...either one.)
And Yan-sui is so clueless...*sighs, shakes head, then walks away*

Rinzen: Are we talking about that show where every airbender in the world is dead except for hyperactive all-powerful kid? That show depresses me. Mainly for all of my people being dead. T_T

Lovely, and very amusing! I especially like the last two panels...so much drama! :w00t: Also thanks for the cultural tidbid.

Dark chocolate?

That works on so many levels...
Dark and demon seem to go together (they both start with "d")
Also, dark chocolate is better for you, and as a warrior, I'm sure Yan-sui is fairly health conscious.

But do demons eat chocolate? :confused: has a hard time picturing it--I'd think it would get on their fangs...

What is palet d'or please? :please: Is a chocolate conossieur, and therefore MUST KNOW!

palet d'or - is literally is plate of gold, the term given for the best pieces of dark chocolate. The highest-grade companies, such as valrhona, sometimes lay a leaf of gold on their palets.
