Series: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Racheakt - "The Act of Vengeance"

This is my most ambitious doujin project yet, technique and subject-matter-wise. This is my first time using digital screentoning, as well as the first time I'm doing a fancomic that is not fluffy/humorous.

Given that everyone is telling me Jet's dead, end of story - I've decided to make my own. Sure, he's dead, but as we know from thousands of vampire/zombie movies, that doesn't have to be THE END. :evillaugh:

This doujin will be rated PG-14 for violence and partial nudity, so viewer discretion is advised.

Ohh, even though it's supposed to be a dark, haunting cover...well, it's so pretty in an artistic sense...I guess. (Don't know if that made sense.)

I'm always so in awe of your layering skills, the whole background is so...um, thick?

What does "Racheakt" mean by the way?


On another note, I promise, I really am working on your "shiny." I just had to get this thing done for AJ first. I love that I have some artist friends, but dang, I have reworked this skirt on Katara 5 times already, because I asked for their opinions.

OOoooo, dark and dramatic, just how I like my Zombie stories :D The artwork is incredible! I can already see that this is going to be a remarkable doujin :D

I did the BG with about 40 different grnage brushes on 10 different lyers, plus to texture overlays. (@_@)
