"See, since your hair is so much more manageable than mine, it makes for perfect braiding practice!" Smellerbee explained, about to tie the finishing-touch pink ribbon around the end of Longshot's ebony plait.

The archer quirked his lips, trying not to blush - of all things for Bee to fixated on, it had to be his hair.

"For the love of---!" Jet slouched against the tree, throwing the weed he had been chewing to one side in disgust, "He didn't say a word to stop her!"

Pipsqueak raised an eyebrow in confusion. "But Longshot hardly ever talks."

Jet rolled his eyes. "Well, he oughta say something when his manhood is being violated. He's setting a bad example for the Duke."

"He is?" the Duke queried.

"What did you expect him to do?" Sneers asked Jet with a smirk, "Bee has him totally whipped."

"Oh booooooys," Smellerbee called out in a sing-song voice that carried across the burbling stream, "Who's next up for their make-over?"

"Sorta like how she has the rest us," Sneers grumbled, holding up the straws in his hand, "Okay, shortest goes out next."
