Series: Princess Tutu
Entry for  's May 2009 Contest: In the Movies. Based on Memoirs of a Geisha (loved the book and the soundtrack muchly, not so much the movie, but ANYWAY...  ).Cast: Ahiru as Chiyo Sakamoto/Sayuri Nitta Fakir as The Chairman / Ken Iwamura Rue as Hatsumomo Edel as Mameha  Mytho as Nobu --- RANT: Oooo, I was THIS close to doing House of Flying Daggers, but I wanted a poster that would have more cast members on it! I think Fakir's way too snarky to be The Chairman (he almost makes a better Nobu, what with his sharp tongue), but going by Memoirs canon, it had to be him. I mean, he did warm up to Ahiru later on in the series... Mytho as Nobu fits, so long as we're going with dark!Mytho - same applies to Rue as Hatsumomo. Edel was a kinda-sorta(?) "mentor" to Ahiru in PT, sooo... Edel = Mameha, yes? Maybe? P.S. - all of this was done with PS Elements for Mac, since my dear laptop with CS is not presently in my possession!  /Rant |
