Series: Avatar: the Last Airbender

I was listening to my The Who CD when the song, "Behind Blue Eyes" came on, and I heard:
"But my dreams they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free."
My Muse of Things Angsty grabbed my Skillet and smacked me upside the head and demanded little!traumatized!Jet fanart. After about three tries, I think I got it right.
This is the first time Jet has killed a man - he is about nine, and still wearing the rags of his old clothes (still connected to his past). His village in the background, because he must remember why he has killed. Eventually, his soul (and eyes) change, and he can no longer feel horrified by taking a life.
(I swear, I do love him, but I felt like inflicting angst)
